This apartment is located in a building emblematic of the Barrio de las Letras (District of Letters), also referred to as the Huertas district.
This area enjoys a fantastic atmosphere and it is home to some of the most charming streets, buildings and antiques shops in the city. The Prado Museum, the Paseo de Recoletos, las Cortes (Palace of the Parliament), the Fountain of Neptune and many other must-seen spots are all within easy walking distance.
The apartment:
This apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a building with a lift. The most attractive feature in the apartment are the 7 balconies overlooking the street, which nicely flood the rooms with natural light: a true luxury that allows guests to enjoy Madrid’s unique atmosphere from a different height.
Like any historic home of this nature, the apartment comes with a spacious entrance hall and a large hallway giving access to each separate room. Three of the bedrooms and the living area have private balconies overlooking the street; the kitchen and the two bathrooms are inward-facing, as well as the fourth, smaller bedroom.
This large apartment can comfortably accommodate 8 people in 2 double rooms and 2 twins.
The living area, bright and spacious, comprises two rooms which are separated by a wooden door.
The elegant, sober décor pays respect to the house’s original character by offering a tasteful combination of modern features and antique furnishings of high sentimental and artistic value.
The two bathrooms are functional and simple in style. The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen has a dining area with table and chairs.
Internet and air conditioning are available in all rooms.

Otherwise you can only access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal sanctions in this regard

Location was great. The apartment was of a decent size and as advertised had 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Rooms were clean and bedding and towels were present. Rooms are on the 3rd floor but there is a working elevator to help bring luggage up.

The kitchen did not have very many glasses - for a 4 bedroom apartment, one would expect to see a few more glasses wine glasses would have been nice.
